This was our second hike in the Lake Tahoe area during the summer of 2005, when Billy and I took 10 days off to visit Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park.
After summitting Mt. Tallac on our previous hike, this was definitely easier (Difficulty: 3 out of 5) yet just as beautiful and even more diverse. As Billy exclaimed afterwards, "It's got everything!" -- from alpine meadows and sparkling lakes, to pine forests and granite peaks. Taken in South Lake Tahoe, California, August 2005.
